Consultation of the European Commission
Dear members of the European Network of Rehabilitations Centres,
we like to draw your attention to the following opportunity to raise our concerns about ERF funding. The European Commission is preparing a review of the EU Budget and the next Multi-Annual Financial Framework in the area of home affairs, covering the period after 2013.
The Commission will look at the spending priorities and the existing delivery mechanisms, such as the general program "Solidarity and Management of Migration Flows†(look here for more information).
This covers funds such as the European Refugee Fund, the European Return Fund and the European Integration Fund.
There is an opportunity for stakeholders to present their views on funding in the area of home affairs and to provide the Commission with an insight of concrete experiences of those working with programs in this area.
The consultation covers both general questions about the future needs of the home affairs policy area and more detailed questions about specific policy fields, such as migration and asylum, and delivery mechanisms.
All EU institutions, national and local authorities, citizens, international and intergovernmental organisations, NGOs, academic institutions, third countries and social partners can submit their contribution until 4 March 2011.
>> Here you can download a pdf of the questionnaire
>> And here you find the questionnaire to fill in online
>> For further information, please look here.
This is an opportunity for our centers to raise their concerns to the funding of the EU and particularly Home Affairs, in charge of asylum and ERF and espacially our concerns to the funding of centers like ours.
We hope that you will submit your contribution until 4 March 2011!
